About Rockwood

Rockwood Country Club Inc. is conducted as a not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of  maintaining its boat landing and domestic water system. Corporate powers of the corporation are vested in a Board of Directors who manage the affairs of the corporation in accordance with its ByLaws.

Eligibility for membership in the corporation is limited to the owners (legal record holders) of tracts of  land located within the Plat of Rockwood Estates in Oneida County and Vilas County. Annual (July-June) membership dues are $50.

Active members have access to a private boat landing and boat slip rental . Please "click" the Boat Landing link above for more information.

Membership in the domestic water system is limited to the number of service points authorized by Wisconsin law. Please "click" the Water System link above for more information .

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY

• With safety as our primary concern, please obey the posted speed and traffic signs, drive cautiously, and watch for children, pets, hikers and bikers especially at intersections.


• Become a vigilant, unofficial neighborhood watch leader and please report any unusual occurrences and observations to the appropriate authorities.


• Let's work together to keep Rockwood trash-free by picking up any noticeable garbage along the roads.


• Please respect quiet times at the lake by remembering that loud music and noises carry easily across open water​. . While we love our dogs, incessant barking can be annoying and frustrating to your neighbor

• Follow all  DNR rules regarding boating, skiing, jet-skiing on the lake.
