Boat Landing Policies
Members of RCC who have been given authorized access to the
boat landing will be issued a fob to the gate upon completing a signed
application.
Members with an active fob must be present at the launch in order to
launch their own watercraft or have it launched by a family
member, friend or marine service company. Member-owned watercraft
and trailer at Rockwood's boat launch site must weigh less than 5,000
pounds. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Click on the above
button to see the complete policy.
Members may lease a boat slip for the summer season. Members must
pay the current rate of $500.00 for the season and complete a Boat Slip
Leasing Agreement. The number of slips available to lease are limited
and they are offered to prior lessees before they are offered to other
members. There is also a waiting list of members interested in leasing
slips.
Experienced and novice boaters alike need to be mindful of safe boating
practices, laws and rules. For safety tips and recommended practices
contact the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources information
desk at 1-888-936-7463 or visit dnr.wi.gov. Take special care to prevent
accidents while on the docks and using the loading ramp which
may be affected by weather conditions. (Member and guest use of
this recreational area is at one's own risk.)
